No, you do not need to keep an eye on the rice cooker. You can simply press the selection button for the cooking or warming function and leave the kitchen.
The rice cooker heats the water in the rice cooker to 100C, causing the water to boil and steam to be released. If there is no more water in the inner pan, the appliance automatically switches to the warming function. The heating element for the warming function saves energy. While the warming function is engaged, occasionally stir the rice to prevent the rice from sticking to the bottom.
We guarantee that the non-stick coating was made in accordance with the rules for materials that come into contact with food. The damage caused by use is therefore no problem. We recommend using plastic or wooden spatulas and no metal utensils to prevent the non-stick coating from becoming damaged. In order to keep the non-stick coating smooth as long as possible, we advise that you do not cut any food in the inner pan.
