Because small portions can also be cooked. The Tristar slowcooker has different heating settings. This way you can cook a stew within 3 hours or cook meat up to 10 hours. The cooker also has a function which keeps your food warm. Your food will remain healthy and warm until you decide to serve.
The Tristar slowcooker has a ceramic inner pan which you can take out completely and clean or serve with. Also the outer housing of stainless steel is easy to clean. With a moist towel you can easily clean al the spatters of food.
